These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and your purchase of products from Arimaa Products (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them before placing an order.
By browsing this website, placing an order or ordering from us over WhatsApp, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or place an order.
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an Order. If you are under 18, you may use this website and order only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
By placing an Order you confirm that the information you give us is true, accurate and complete, and that the delivery address you supply is one you are entitled to receive parcels at.
Our Products are handmade in small batches from natural ingredients. Colour, scent, texture, marbling and weight will vary slightly from batch to batch and from the photographs on this website. This is a characteristic of handmade goods, not a defect, and is not by itself a ground for return.
Product photographs are indicative. Screen calibration differs between devices, so on-screen colour will not always match the item you receive.
Ingredient lists, benefits and usage notes shown on a product page are provided for information. We take care to keep them accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that they are complete or error free. Where a listing contains an obvious error, we may correct it at any time without notice.
If a Product is listed at a manifestly incorrect price because of a typographical or system error, we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you, and you may either confirm the Order at the corrected price or receive a full refund.
Your Order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges that we have received it; a contract is formed when we accept the Order and dispatch it.
All Products are subject to availability. If an item you have paid for turns out to be unavailable, we will contact you and refund the amount paid for that item in full. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Order at our discretion — for example where stock has run out, where the delivery address is not serviceable, where an error in pricing or description has been identified, or where we suspect fraudulent or abusive activity.
Once an Order is confirmed it cannot be cancelled. Because every parcel is packed by hand shortly after payment, we are also unable to guarantee changes to items, quantities or delivery address once an Order has been placed. If something is wrong, message us on WhatsApp immediately and we will help if the parcel has not yet been handed to the courier. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.
Dispatch times, delivery periods, courier partners and shipping charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds and damaged-parcel claims — including the mandatory unboxing video — are set out in our Return & Refund Policy. Both policies form part of these terms.
Risk in the Products passes to you on delivery to the address you supplied. Where a parcel is returned to us undelivered because the address was incorrect or incomplete, or because nobody was available to receive it, any cost of re-dispatch is payable by you.
Our soaps are handcrafted using natural oils, butters and essential oils, and do not contain artificial colours or harsh chemicals. While our Products are naturally made, individual skin can react differently to any ingredient, natural or otherwise. We strongly recommend performing a patch test before first use — apply a small amount on your hand or another suitable area of skin and monitor for any reaction before applying to your face or body. We are not liable for allergic reactions or skin irritation resulting from failure to conduct a patch test, or from undisclosed skin sensitivities or allergies.
How to use:
Skin types and sensitivities vary from person to person. A patch test is recommended before every use, even for repeat customers, as skin condition can change over time. We are not responsible for any adverse reaction arising from skipped patch tests, incorrect usage, or pre-existing skin conditions not disclosed prior to purchase.
Our lip balms are made using natural oils and butters. As with all our Products, we recommend testing a small amount on your skin before applying to your lips, especially if you have known sensitivities to any natural oils, butters or essential oils.
Because our Products contain no synthetic preservatives, please store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and water, keep facepack powders completely dry, and use them within the period indicated on the packaging. We are not responsible for deterioration caused by improper storage after delivery.
Our Products are cosmetic in nature and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. Nothing on this website is medical advice. Users with pre-existing skin conditions should consult a dermatologist before use. If you experience irritation, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice. Do not use on broken, wounded or inflamed skin, and keep away from the eyes. If you are pregnant, nursing or under medical treatment, consult your physician before use.
Our Products are formulated with natural, purely handmade ingredients. Individual skin types vary, and users may experience allergic reactions or sensitivity to certain ingredients. We recommend a patch test before first use. We are not liable for allergic reactions, skin irritation or adverse effects resulting from undisclosed allergies, misuse, or failure to conduct a patch test.
It is your responsibility to read the ingredient list on the product page and packaging before use and to avoid any ingredient you are known to be allergic to.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arimaa Products’s total liability arising from any claim related to the purchase or use of our Products shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Product giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from the use or inability to use our Products.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
This website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site is free of viruses or other harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these terms, whether express or implied.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arimaa Products, its proprietors and its staff against any claim, loss, liability or expense arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of a Product, or your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party.
All content on this website — including the Arimaa Products name and logo, product names, photographs, illustrations, text and page design — is our property or is used by us under licence, and is protected by Indian copyright and trade mark law. You may not reproduce, copy, republish, sell or use any of it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Sharing our product photographs on social media with credit to us is welcome.

Reviews and testimonials shown on this website are published by us from feedback our customers have shared with us. If you send us feedback, a photograph or a video, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to publish it on our website and social media in connection with our Products, with or without your first name. Tell us if you would prefer us not to, or would like something already published taken down, and we will remove it.
Reviews reflect the personal experience of individual customers. Results vary from person to person and a review is not a promise of any particular outcome.
By placing an Order you consent to receive transactional messages from us by email, SMS or WhatsApp relating to that Order — confirmation, dispatch, tracking and delivery updates. These are not marketing messages and cannot be opted out of while an Order is in progress. We do not send promotional email unless you have asked us to.
This website relies on third-party services, including Razorpay for payments and our courier partners for delivery, and may link to external sites such as our social media pages. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, strikes, natural disasters, floods, epidemics, power or internet failure, government restrictions, or failure of a payment gateway or hosting provider. Delivery timelines are estimates and are affected by such circumstances.
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may amend these terms at any time. The version published on this page when you place an Order is the version that applies to that Order. Please review this page from time to time; the revision date is shown at the top.
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remainder will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy, Shipping and Return & Refund policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your purchase.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Subject to the grievance process below, the courts at Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
If you have a complaint about a Product, an Order or how we have handled your personal data, write to us and we will acknowledge it within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days. WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach us.
